Book Review 1 Dark Moon Magic

This week’s book

Dark Moon Magic

By

Jerri Drennen

I decided I would start this blog off with a fun and easy going read. This book will transport you to the little town of Groves Arkansas, where Jerri has captured the essence of a small town. This book has; family secrets, the town gossips and everyone looking at the new girl in town with suspicion. If you have ever lived in a small town you will fall in love with this book. I don’t want to give anything away so here is the book blurb.

Practicing Wiccan Regina Moon is starting over in the tiny town of Groves, Arkansas, hoping her New Age shop will succeed despite her friend’s objection. A ritual-type killing of a local man transforms the quiet little community into 1692 Salem, with all eyes on her, and has the Sheriff, Trace Langston not only trying to solve a murder but disbanding a mob of angry townspeople hell-bent on burning Regina at the stake. In all the upheaval, a cold case, sealed within a circle, is unearthed and an evil no one knew existed is revealed.

I read this in two nights so it will make a perfect weekend getaway. I give it 4 stars out of 5. So grab your glass of wine, fluff the pillows and enjoy your time away.
